ESPN Drops Big Update On Angel Reese's Rookie Of The Year Odds

ESPN BET recently revealed Angel Reese's updated WNBA Rookie of the Year odds. The Chicago Sky rookie now stands at +350 to take home the Rookie of the Year award, trailing Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark at -600.

While the lines don't seem too favorable for Reese, Clark came into the season as a -3000 favorite, and Reese was listed at +650 just over a week ago. Reese is certainly gaining traction, as she's made a name for herself as one of the best rebounders in the WNBA.

Reese leads the league with 11.8 rebounds while being the only rookie to average a double-double, adding 13.2 points on the season. The Sky's season has been a rollercoaster in terms of standings, but the first-year star has been a consistent bright spot for Chicago.

The Sky currently stands as the No. 4 team in the Eastern Conference and No. 8 in the league rankings. They hold a 7-11 record, fresh off an 85-77 victory over the Atlanta Dream.

Clark has averaged 16 points and 7.1 assists through the Fever's 8-13 record. The rookie out of Iowa also leads the season series against Reese, holding a 2-1 edge.

Reese and Clark will have their next and final matchup on August 30 in Chicago. While Clark holds a strong lead over the LSU product in the betting lines, the race may get tighter as the countdown to their next contest continues.
