Angel Reese Makes Personal WNBA History Against Seattle Storm

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese has been on a tear of late.

The "Chi Barbie" and former LSU Tiger earned a roster spot for the WNBA All-Star Game last week; just a few days after she set a new WNBA record for the most consecutive games with a double double (11).

Reese and the Sky are facing the Seattle Storm on Friday night.

And Reese managed to make her own personal history during the game.

In the final seconds of the second quarter, Reese made her first ever three pointer in the WNBA.

And fans could not be more excited for Reese (who, unlike fellow rookie Caitlin Clark, is not at all known for her shooting ability) breaking this personal barrier.

"THATS OUR ROOKIE!!!" one X user wrote in a reply to the WNBA's post about Reese's three pointer.

"Reese with 16 points 6 rebounds 2 blocks in 17 minutes of the first half. She balling!" said another.

"ANGEL ROTY IS SECURED," a third fan wrote.

Clearly there's a lot of excitement about Reese draining this shot. Perhaps this will be the first of many three pointers Reese ends up making in her WNBA career.
