According to a list compiled by Wallethub , the most stressful place to live in Illinois is Chicago . This city was also named among the most stressful places to live across the country.

Our sample considers only the city proper in each case and excludes cities in the surrounding metro area. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the highest levels of stress."
