Illinois Gas Station Sells Two Massive Jackpot-Winning Tickets In Same Week

One Chicago gas station has earned the reputation of being an extremely lucky place to play the lottery after selling two massive jackpot-winning tickets just days apart! According to Illinois Lottery , one regular customer purchased a $10,000 winning ticket at the ARCO gas station in West Rogers Park last week, mere days before another customer purchased a lottery ticket that earned them $1 million!

West Rogers Park ARCO owner Jackpaul Singh was so surprised by the double win that he could hardly believe it!

“The news that we sold a $1 million winning Lotto ticket came just after one of our regular customers won $10,000 on a scratch-off ticket right here in front of me. I can’t believe we’ve had two big winners in the past week. I don’t know if it’s good karma or luck, but I look forward to seeing more winners walk through our doors!”

The gas station owner told Illinois Lottery officials that he's had ties to the store for as long as he can remember, and bears only great memories of the neighborhood.

“I actually grew up in this neighborhood. I used to stop at this store and buy candy on my way to school. As soon as I saw the store was listed for sale a few years ago, I jumped at the opportunity to buy it. I’ve always loved this store and business couldn’t be better. The neighborhood is super diverse, very family-oriented, and has blessed us with an amazing, supportive customer base.”

The store will receive a bonus just for being the establishment to sell the winning tickets! information regarding the identity of the two winners or what they plan to do with the money has yet to be revealed.
