Tables full of local residents and Loyola students give the room a welcoming buzz, while people at the bar snack on tangy tamarind wings and crispy catfish with chili sauce. Walking into Kaun Khmai is a great alternative if its reservation-only neighbor is booked, but it’s also an excellent first choice for a casual date or catch-up.
