Chicago Sky Season Ticket Holder Shares Barbie Doll Gift With Angel Reese At Game Vs. Liberty

Angel Reese is quite the character and she's vaulted herself at or near the top of the WNBA Rookie of Year race in recent weeks with a 15-game double-double streak that ended Saturday vs. the New York Liberty.

Reese's team lost 81-67 to the first-place Liberty on Saturday, but it wasn't all bad news as a fan shared the gift of the season with Reese and the Sky organization, based on her post-WNBA Draft nickname.

Reese revealed her Barbie doll focused nickname, 'Chi Barbie,' after being selected number seven overall by Chicago this past April.

She also called herself 'The Bayou Barbie' during her time in Baton Rouge, LA with the LSU Tigers.

A season ticket holder made her fantasy a reality on Saturday, bringing a real life Reese Barbie doll to the game in an action that has some people wondering if Mattel will bring the doll to life on a large scale.

Reese scored 8 points and grabbed 16 rebounds on Saturday in a performance that impressed many fans but did not continue her even more impressive double-double streak.

Next up for the Sky is a Tuesday matchup against A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces.
