The Chicago Sky dropped to 9-14 on the season with an 81-67 loss to the New York Liberty Saturday. Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon expressed frustration after the loss due to the questionable officiating.

Regardless, the Sky have now dropped three of the last four games and have roster decisions to make in the future.

With the WNBA All-Star break coming up, it could be a good time for the Sky to add some pieces in hopes of making a playoff push. After the loss to the Liberty, Weatherspoon opened up on potentially making a roster addition , per Annie Costabile of The Chicago Sun-Times.

“We still continue to speak about what is important for us as we move forward,” Weatherspoon said. “I’m always about the need. We’ll continue to have that conversation, then make a decision.”

The Sky have 10 players on the roster, and Dana Evans and Brianna Turner have had a hard time finding minutes as of late.

Turner was a DNP Coach's Decision Saturday and Evans played seven minutes as three of the Sky bench players played fewer than 10 minutes.

Moreover, four of the five Sky starters played more than 30 minutes on Saturday, so a move could come before they get worn out.

While Weatherspoon's comments don't give any real indication, it would be surprising if the Sky stood pat and didn't at least add a piece or two to this roster over the next couple of weeks.

The Sky face off at the Las Vegas Aces Tuesday before the lengthy break.
