Chennedy Carter Catches Brutal Viral Stray From Caitlin Clark Fans

    By Grant Young,

Chennedy Carter and the Chicago Sky produced one of their most disappointing performances against the New York Liberty on Saturday.

Carter (who has been one of the Sky's two best players this season, along with rookie sensation Angel Reese) finished the game with 7 points in 16 minutes played.

That's the least points she has scored and minutes she has played since June 8.

And Carter looked utterly baffled on the court at one moment in the WNBA game's broadcast.

And Caitlin Clark fans are using this as ammo to roast Carter about a recent comment she made about the Fever rookie.

"Beside three-point shooting, what does [Clark] bring to the table, man," Carter said on social media last month.

Which prompted X user @HeavensFX to post a gif of Carter looking confused on the court yesterday with the caption, "When you find out what Caitlin Clark brings to the table besides 3-pt shooting man."

The post has over 275,000 views in just over 24 hours.

This comment was destined to come back and haunt Carter at some point.

The Sky and the Fever play each other once more this season on August 30.
