Angel Reese Receives Big News From Iconic Rapper

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese was recently named dropped in Lil Durk's upcoming song with YTB Fatt. The Chicago rapper sent a shoutout to the Sky, as well as the first-year star out of LSU while recording a music video for the song.

Lil Durk and YTB Fatt were filmed recording the music video in a gas station. The two have collaborated before, recently being featured in "Rock Out" by Moneybagg Yo and "Last One" on a joint mixtape.

"Courtside, won a Sky game; 100 on me, telling Angel Reese to shoot," said Durk and YTB Fatt during their music video.

Reese has turned into a star on and off the court at the professional level. While she was a well-known athlete with the LSU Tigers at the collegiate level, her fandom has skyrocketed during her time in the WNBA.

The 22-year-old rookie has over 3.6M followers on Instagram and over 552K on X. She's made a name for herself as one of the best young players in the WNBA, but she's also a significant figure off the hardwood.

Reese has only been with the Sky since April, so it's clear she's made an immediate impact on the Windy City, receiving a shoutout from popular artists in the Chicago area.

Aside from her influence off the court, Reese has also recorded incredible numbers with the Sky. The 6-foot-3 forward has averaged 13.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game during Chicago's 9-14 record. Additionally, she set the WNBA record for most consecutive double-doubles, recording 15 in a row before having her streak snapped vs. the New York Liberty on July 13.

Lil Durk and YTB Fatt have yet to announce the official release date for their next song, but the snippet of lyrics revealed a major shootout for Reese and the Sky.
