WNBA legend Rebecca Lobo highlighted Chicago Sky star Chennedy Carter after the talented guard helped lead the Sky to a win over the Las Vegas Aces on Tuesday.

She posted 34 points and four rebounds in the 93-85 victory.

Carter has been known to be one of the fastest players in the league , using her speed to find the rim. "I have not seen a defender this season consistently keep Chennedy Carter in front of them. She can get by anyone," Lobo said about the 5-foot-9 guard.

Heading into the match against the Aces, Carter was averaging 16.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Despite starting the season as a role player, she leads Chicago in average points per game.

Lobo has commented on various WNBA topics this season, and her opinion is highly respected in the WNBA community . The 1999 WNBA All-Star currently serves as an analyst and reporter for ESPN's women's basketball coverage.

Carter came into the season having to prove her ability to compete in the WNBA, and she's certainly shown that she has elite talent.

Following the start of the season, where the 25-year-old served as the Sky's sixth woman off the bench, she earned a starting role and has established herself in that lineup.

She's now started nearly half of Chicago's games this season. Before her time with the Sky, Carter played for the Los Angeles Sparks in 2022 and the Atlanta Dream in 2020 and 2021. She was out of the league in 2023 after being released from the Sparks due to conduct detrimental to the team.

As Lobo explained, the entire league has struggled to stop the talented star. She may have dealt with struggles during her time in the WNBA, but it seems Carter has finally found a home in Chicago.
