 At least six tornadoes touched down in New York state on Wednesday as the remnants of Hurricane Beryl battered the east coast. The twisters struck in the western part of the state, close to Buffalo. This is going to be the last day of a heatwave that has coverned much of the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states and it is going ot be the worst day! Hot temperatures of 95 to 100 degrees will be common in a stretch from Washington DC to Philadelphia and New York City. Humidity leves will be off the wall making for extreme discomfort.
