Despite the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game having taken place a few days ago, the women's basketball community is still buzzing about what they witnessed during that fantastic spectacle.

One of the highlights of the game was Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese securing a double-double by scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in Team WNBA's unexpected win over Team USA.

Many people made it known how ecstatic they were about Reese's success.

And considering how supportive of Reese Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon has been, it's no surprise that she FaceTimed Reese mere minutes after the All-Star Game concluded to show her love.

The Chicago Sky's X account posted a video of Reese and Weatherspoon's FaceTime conversation after the All-Star Game.

The conversation starts with the two Sky icons smiling wide at one another, before Weatherspoon says, "Woo!"

"Period," Reese responded with a smile.

"That's my girl double-double," Weatherspoon then said. "I'm so proud of you!"

"Thank you," Reese responded before walking away from the video with her phone, seemingly still speaking with Weatherspoon.

It's great to see the love and adoration that this first-year WNBA player and first-year WNBA head coach have for one another.
