    CPD launches search for missing 15-year-old girl near Woodlawn

    CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department is looking for the public’s help in finding a 15-year-old girl who has gone missing from the city’s Woodlawn-area.

    CPD said Kamoira Anderson was last seen in the 6700 block of South Cornell Avenue on Monday, and was last made contact with on Tuesday.

    She is described as being around 5-foot-4-inches tall and weighing around 100 pounds with brown eyes, blond hair and a medium complexion. Police said Kamoira was last seen carrying a red-orange suitcase and a Chicago Bears blanket.

    If you or someone you know has information that can help lead to the safe return of Anderson, CPD urges those with information to reach out to Area One SVU detectives at 312-747-8380.
