NFL star Jaylon Johnson fumes after being left off top 100 list voted by pros and says ‘Aaron Rodgers didn’t even play’

CHICAGO Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson had some brutal words for his peers after being left out of the NFL’s top 100 players list.

The 25-year-old Second-Team NFL All-Pro failed to make the cut on the annual ranking – which is voted for by players.

Johnson’s absence followed a career year, in which he racked up 10 defended passes, four interceptions, and 36 tackles.

Bluntly, he called his snub “bulls**t” when speaking with reporters on Sunday.

“There ain’t no way. I don’t know how you make Pro Bowl, All-Pro, and not [be] a Top 100 guy,” Johnson went on to add.

Not only was Johnson frustrated by his absence, but he took particular issue with the inclusion of New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers at spot 92.

Rodgers only played one drive in their season opener in 2023 before going down with a torn Achilles.

“I could’ve been 101 I guess, but goddamn, Aaron Rodgers didn’t even play in the season and he was voted,” Johnson said.

“I mean, hey, everybody makes mistakes, it ain’t just the media that do it.

“Players clearly – if they voted for it – they made some goddamn mistakes. But it is what it is.

“At the end of the day, I know the truth and it’s all right, I got some more for them.”

On the plus side for Bears fans, Johnson said that this would simply serve as motivation this upcoming season.

“It’s disrespectful because I go out there, line up and I know receivers go out there and can’t say that I’m not one of best players that they play against,” he commented.

“So I mean, whatever it is, it happened. Doing it wouldn’t have moved me to where I’m complacent, but just to see it – ain’t no way there are 100 guys who are better.

“Ain’t no way. Especially guys who didn’t play, who were hurt, played half – ain’t no f**king way. Excuse my language. Ain’t no way. Ain’t no way.”

Johnson signed a new four-year deal to remain with Chicago this offseason.
