Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson, selected for the Pro Bowl in 2023, was incredulous that Aaron Rodgers, who only played four snaps for the New York Jets before suffering an Achilles tear last season, was included in the NFL's Top 100 List ahead of him.

Addressing the media from the Bears' training camp at PNC Center at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Illi., on Sunday, Johnson was forthright, expressing that his exclusion from the list is "bull****."

"It's bull****," Johnson said, shaking his head. "There ain't no way. I don't know how you make Pro Bowl, All-Pro and not a top 100 guy? I could have been 101, I guess. Aaron Rodgers didn't even play this season and he was voted."

"Everybody makes mistakes, it ain't just the media that do it. The players, clearly, if they voted for it, they made some god**** mistakes but it is what it is. Any day I know the truth and it's ok."

"I got some more for them."

Johnson, who was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, had a standout season in 2023, amassing 36 combined tackles, 10 defended passes, and four interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown. Pro Football Focus rated him as the top cornerback in the NFL.

Despite being voted 92nd after a season-ending injury in his debut with the Jets, Rodgers' ranking may be influenced by the Bears' longstanding rivalry with the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers boasted a 24-5 record against Chicago during his time with Green Bay, which may affect Johnson's view of the ranking.

Johnson has expressed to reporters that being snubbed was "disrespectful" and will serve as "100%" motivation for him in 2024.

After signing a four-year, $76 million contract extension with Chicago in March, Johnson is set to start the 2024 season with the Bears at home against the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 8.
