    Imanaga, Cubs Look to Bounce Back in Game Two of Series Against Twins

    The Chicago look to rebound after being shut out by the Minnesota Twins in the series opener 3-0 at Wrigley Field. They enter the day seven games behind for the final wildcard spot in the National League.

    Tuesday, August 6th: Shota Imanaga vs. Pablo Lopez

    The Cubs will go with Shota Imanaga (8-2, 3.09 ERA) on Tuesday. Imanaga is coming off a no decision in his last start against the St. Louis Cardinals. He allowed four runs off ten hits across 6.2 innings of work. He struck out seven batters and did not allow a walk.

    The Twins will start Pablo Lopez (10-7, 4.65 ERA) in the second game of the series at Wrigley Field. Lopez is coming off his third straight quality start in his last outing where he received the win against the New York Mets. Lopez allowed two runs on three hits across six innings of work. He struck out seven and walked three.
