Angel Reese Takes Internet By Storm After Releasing Her Favorite NFL Team

Chicago Sky's rookie of the year candidate Angel Reese has been in the middle of her and the WNBA's hiatus while the Olympics wrap up. So many have learned more things about her while the break is occurring. Like her favorite NFL team.

Reese is from Maryland, oftentimes considered the 'DMV," which is the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C. With Maryland and Virginia centered around it. Reese was asked on X if she was a Commanders or Ravens fan, and she made it very clear.

Reese is currently competing with Caitlin Clark for the rookie of the year as she hopes to lead the Sky to the playoffs in just her first season with the team. The former LSU phenom is averaging a double-double and has been one of the most consistent players in the entirety of the WNBA.

Commanders fans may be a tad upset, but she is from the Maryland area, which makes plenty of sense as to why she supports Baltimore, led by one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, Lamar Jackson.
