Two Chicago pizza joints claim top spots on Yelp’s “Top 100 Pizza Spots in the Midwest”

Two Chicago pizza joints are among the top ten of Yelp's "Top 100 Pizza Spots in the Midwest".

Pequod's Pizza secured the number three spot on the list. The Chicago favorite has locations in Lincoln Park and Morton Grove, and is locally loved for its unique deep dish crust.

Uptown-based Milly's Pizza in the Pan earned the fifth spot. A recent addition to the neighborhood, Milly’s has quickly become a local favorite, for its thick, fluffy Chicago pan-style pies that sell out daily, according to Yelp.

Several other Chicago-area pizzerias earned spots on Yelp's list. Dough Daddy's Pizza in Westmont, a suburban gem, ranked ninth, with its modern take on classic Chicago-style pizza.

Zazas Pizzeria in Chicago in Lakeview claimed the 12th spot. The traditional Chicago-style pizzeria has gained a local following for its high-quality ingredients and attention to detail, according to Yelp.
