    2024 Blast from the Past nearing in Chilton County

    Did you hear? Elvis is back in the building and “We Are All Shook Up”.

    2024 Blast from the Past Chilton County will present its musical review of songs from decades past to present. The cast and crew of this year’s program includes 105 students from across Chilton County.

    Public performances will be held at Chilton County High School inside McKee Auditorium on Feb 23 and 24 at 7 p.m., and Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. Reserved seating is available, and to purchase tickets online, visit https://chiltonblast.booktix.net.

    Songs that will be performed this year include Dancing Queen by ABBA, I’ve Been Everywhere by Johnny Cash, One Fine Day by The Chiffons, Three Wooden Crosses by Randy Travis, You Drive Me Crazy by Britney Spears, Dreams by Fleetwood Mac, Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves, Popsicles & Icicles by The Mermaids, All I Ask by Adele, Goodbye Earl by The Dixie Chicks, Hello by Lionel Richie, Pink Shoelaces by Dodie Stevens, Power of Love by Celine Dion, Stand By Your Man by Tammy Wynette, Emotions by Brenda Lee, You Send Me by Sam Cooke, The Warrior by Scandal, I Couldn’t Live Without Your Love by Patula Clark, How

    Do I Live by LeAnn Rimes, May the Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Nose by Little Jimmy Dickens, Those Were The Days by Mary Hopkin, The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia by Vicki Lawrence and Mountain Music by ALABAMA.

    All proceeds raised through the performance will go towards scholarships for seniors from each school in the county who participated.
