ELKHART LAKE – Paul Menard’s championship battle with Chris Dyson has gotten more heated, even as his lead in the Trans Am points continues to grow. NEENAH – Gus Rieckman tossed a five-inning one-hit shutout to lead the Appleton Post 38 Legion baseball team to a resounding 12-0 win over Neenah on Monday. Rieckman pitched to just one batter over the minimum in the five innings as he did not walk a batter and Appleton (6-7) played flawless defense behind him. He finished with seven strikeouts.
