MDA to Conduct Spongy Moth Aerial Management in Pine, Isanti, and Chisago Counties
St. Paul, MN: The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is preparing to treat five sites in Pine, Isanti, and Chisago counties to slow the spread of a spongy moth. Officials will conduct the aerial management activities the week of July 8, beginning as early as 6:30 a.m. each day and continuing throughout the day. The dates are dependent on weather conditions in the area; treatments will take several days.

Growing Gardeners at North Branch Library
Get your hands dirty and learn about plants at the library on Wednesday, July 10 from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Master Gardener Michelle is teaching us all about gardening, pollinators, and plants! This hands-on event will take place at the Williams Park Community Garden right behind the North Branch Library. You may park at the library and walk the short paved path to the community garden. This event is geared toward ages three to 10. Children younger than eight need a caregiver to accompany them.
