Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Sides With Kyle, Calls Diane A Gold Digger

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 22 tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be blindsided by Nikki Newman's (Melody Thomas Scott) stance on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Soaps Spoilers reports that Nikki tells Jack that Diane is a gold digger and has gotten everything she ever wanted.

The conversation begins when Jack opens up about his problems at home. He confesses Diane fired Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), which caused a rift in their relationship. Nikki cannot believe Jack allowed Diane to dismiss Kyle. She thinks it sounds a little too convenient in Diane's favor.

Jack asks Nikki what she means by that. Nikki says Diane returned from the dead, and now she has the job she always wanted, is married to him, and actively tried to come in between their friendship. Jack asks Nikki if she's calling his wife a gold digger, to which she says, "I guess I am."

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Jack storms out of GCAC. Nikki follows him to Jabot. She corners him in his office and demands they talk about this. Nikki agrees that she may have been harsh but does not trust Diane. She wishes she could, but her past makes it difficult.

Jack understands. He accepts her apology but wants everyone to get along. He admits the situation with Kyle has his emotions all over the place, but he cannot blame Diane for Kyle's actions.

Nikki hopes everything settles down in Jack's life. She knows Diane is important to him and is happy he has someone to love. She wants him to be careful around Diane. Something about this situation doesn't jive, and she would hate for Jack to lose everything for trusting Diane.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Diane's motives will emerge in the coming weeks. Kyle and Jack will also join forces, creating more tension with Diane.
