The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 23, tease that Sharon Newman's (Sharon Case) mental decline hits an all-time low. Soaps Spoilers reports that she hallucinates Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) passionately kissing her.
Nick arrives at Sharon's home to check on her. After her blow-up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Nick is worried about Sharon. She brushes it off, claiming Phyllis gets under her skin. Nick pressures her for answers about what has been bothering her.
Sharon Hallucinates Nick Kiss
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon admits she's been thinking about Cassie a lot lately. She contributed that to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) having a child and working on the company she named after her. Nick understands but wants Sharon to call him if she needs anything. He leaves after being summoned to Newman Enterprises by the Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Not long after Nick leaves, Sharon hears a knock on the door. She answers, and it's Nick. He grabs her and gives her a long smooch. While many Sharon and Nick fans would love to see them unite, this will get messy quickly. Sharon hallucinated Nick's kiss. It's clear Sharon's mental health is declining quickly.
Sally Wants Answers
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) corners Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at Newman Media. She wants to know why he's been pulling away from her. She asks him point-blank if she's the problem. She worries that she did something to upset him.
Adam tells Sally that it isn't her. He lost his temper with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) in Baltimore and feels guilty about it. He blamed her for Connor Newman's (Judah MacKey) OCD diagnosis.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Sally believed Adam's excuse for now, but it won't be long until the Baltimore secret comes out and shocks Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Victor's Business Shakeup Stuns Nikki
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) decide to corner Victor about his shakeup at Newman Media and Enterprises. They want to confirm that when Nikki is ready to return to work, she will retain her job at Newman Media.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor calls a family meeting, summoning Adam and Nick to hear the details. Victor shares that Adam will stay at Newman Media when everyone arrives, and Nikki will run Chancellor Industries. He is in talks to purchase the company and believes Nikki will be the perfect CEO.
When Billy discovers Victor will be snagging Chancellor from his grasp, he will likely join forces with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to take Victor down.
