Young and the Restless Spoilers: Summer Crashes Kyle & Claire's Date, Jealous & Wants Ex Back

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) has been making real efforts to see past Claire Newman's (Hayley Erin) earlier mistakes and accept her as family.

It's been challenging, but Summer is starting to warm up to Claire and values how she looks after Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell). But trouble is brewing as Claire and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) grow closer.

Summer won't take it well as Claire and Kyle spend more time together, and romance blossoms. Following Y&R's September 5 episode, Kyle and Claire are already planning more dinners and movie nights together.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Claire and Kyle will basically be going on "dates" without being an official couple yet – at least, that's how Summer will likely see it!

It's not hard to picture Summer and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) running into Kyle and Claire during a night out. The Young and the Restless spoilers say this could lead to an awkward double-date disaster.

The evening could go downhill between the uncomfortable atmosphere and Summer's potential interrogation.

She Knows Soaps reports that Summer's jealous actions might make Chance wonder about her lingering feelings for Kyle, which could spell trouble for her current relationship.

Once Kyle and Claire give in to their attraction, they'll go on proper dates and explore what a real relationship might look like. Summer might try to act like she's over Kyle and unbothered, but it'll become increasingly obvious that's not true.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Summer will feel jealous and question if she's moved on from Kyle.

Will Summer think about trying to get Kyle back and have to compete with Claire for him?
