It was the first game of the six-game series between the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Hudson Valley Renegades, with the Blue Rocks taking home a 5-4 win. Hudson Valley got on the board quickly. In the top of the first inning, Roc Riggio singled on a ball hit into right field. This brought Jared Serna to the plate, who pulled a two-run home run into the visitor's bullpen to put the Renegades in front. NORTH EAST — Twelve students-athletes from Cecil College were named to the National Junior College Athletic Association’s All-Academic teams on Thursday afternoon. Volleyball’s Lily Landis and softball’s Delaney Stanley headlined the group with first team honors.
