Initial ramp closure in place ahead of I-295 widening
The first of three ramp closures associated with the widening of northbound I-295 went into effect Monday night, August 26, 2024. The ramp from Route 141 southbound out of Newport to I-295 northbound and Airport Road is now closed for the next six months, and is not scheduled to reopen until February, 2025.
