DSP arrest second suspect for copper wire thefts from irrigation systems
GREENWOOD, Del. – Police have arrested a second suspect in connection to a copper wire theft investigation in Kent and Sussex Counties. Between April 12th and August 16th, detectives investigated multiple thefts of copper wire from irrigation systems in the Bridgeville, Greenwood, and Houston areas. In each incident, police say unknown suspects trespassed onto private properties, cut, and stole copper wire from pivot irrigation systems, causing significant damage to the equipment.
