Women’s club sets Milton Holiday House Tour Dec. 14
The Women’s Club of Milton will host its annual Milton Holiday House Tour, the club’s largest fundraiser of the year, from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14. While the holiday house tour is keeping its traditional second Saturday in December date, the Milton Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Holly Festival will be held on the first Saturday in December this year, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Dec. 7. As in years past, the women’s club will hold a bake sale at the festival featuring delicious home-baked goods, a 50/50 drawing and a raffle for a beautiful handmade quilt. This year, visitors can spend two holiday weekends in Milton enjoying its sights, shops and restaurants.
Retirement Ready Bootcamp Classes at the Lewes Public Library starting September 5th
InFocus Financial Advisors, Inc. will be starting a Retirement Ready Bootcamp in September. The bootcamp will be held in the Medium Room at the Lewes Public Library in Lewes, DE. The sessions include Savvy Social Security, Retirement Success, and Retirement Investing. Over the course of the three sessions, participants will cover the importance of basic strategies to plan a successful retirement, how to maximize your social security benefit, and how to position your portfolio to last. The goal is to help make people aware of the challenges in retirement and teach them suitable ways to prepare and overcome them.
