Arute, Meyer, Chapman, Cormier, & Hydar Score July 5 Weekly Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to racing on Friday, July 5th with a Weekly Racing Series program. David Arute claimed his first SK Modified® feature victory of the 2024 season while Chris Meyer came up a winner in the Late Model feature for the second consecutive week. Tyler Chapman scored his fifth win of the season in the SK Light feature, Kevin Cormier became the 9th different Limited Late Model winner in as many races this season, and Travis Hydar notched his third consecutive win and his sixth win of the season in the Street Stock feature.

Restaurant and bar owners and patrons can toast one new state law that took effect on July 1. After nearly four decades, Happy Hour is once again legal in Indiana. The practice of offering hourly drink specials was banned in 1985 in an effort to curtail binge drinking and drunk driving. But in March, Governor Eric Holcomb signed House Bill 1086, making Happy Hour legal again.
