Man Stabbed While Using Phone in Southwest Atlanta, Police Seek Unidentified Suspect
Early Sunday morning in southwest Atlanta, a stabbing incident left one man injured and in need of medical attention. The event located at 3030 Headland Drive SW occurred around 2:10 AM, where a 69-year-old male was found suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen. Atlanta Police Department reported that the man was alert and talking when officers arrived and has been hospitalized for treatment.

A new system interchange at I-69 and I-465 will open next month
INDIANAPOLIS – The new system interchange at I-69 and I-465 will open next month on the southwest side of Indianapolis, completing the interstate connection between southwest and central Indiana. Initial work began at the new interchange site in 2022 as part of the I-69 Finish Line project, which upgrades more than 26 miles of State Road 37 to interstate standards through Morgan, Johnson, and Marion counties.

As the olympics are underway in Paris, 15yr old author and diver extraordinaire, Sanaa Chege, is hoping to bring more diversity to the world of diving, with her new children’s book, A Diver Like Me. In it, she discusses her journey of discovering the sport, how she fell in love with it, and often times feeling out of place among other divers that don’t share the same background. It is her hope, that her sharing her story, she will inspire other young black girls to get involved with diving and experience the joy she’s found in diving!
