Indiana and Illinois Arby’s Locations Affected by Franchisee Bankruptcy
After filing for bankruptcy, a small Arby's franchisee is selling some locations and closing others. Miracle Restaurant Group LLC, a company based out of Louisiana has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Miracle owns 25 Arby's locations in Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. This isn't Miracle Restaurant Group's first Chapter 11 filing according to Nation's Restaurant News,

Just yesterday, we were driving back from Florida and decided to treat ourselves with a stop at McDonald's (a rare indulgence at our house). They had this deal—$5 for a meal with a double-patty burger, fries, four chicken nuggets, and a drink. My 11-year-old finished her entire meal. As for me, I only managed to eat half of my burger and a few fries. But wouldn't you know it, about 30 minutes later, she polished off the rest of my meal. Grant would help pay for outdoor fitness court in Fishers
The City of Fishers has received a grant to help pay for an outdoor fitness court that would cost the city up to approximately $237,000 in materials and labor. The Fishers City Council unanimously approved a resolution June 17 accepting the grant funds and agreeing to work with the National Fitness Campaign to plan its installation, pending final approval by the council later this year.
Volunteers build new fences for local stable
Volunteers visited Koteewi Stable and Trails, managed by Ben’s Ranch Foundation in Noblesville, on June 22 to help build fences. Brose McVey, Ben’s Ranch founder and executive director, said the foundation’s management of the stables creates a platform for teens to work, learn and grow by caring for the horses and facility. Tobi Mares was beginning to think her dream of opening her own restaurant wasn’t going to happen. “It’s been a long time coming,” Mares said. “I was just about to give up. I was so defeated, not being able to find a location. I didn’t want to settle. I knew I wanted to stay in Carmel. When every location fell through for a variety of reasons, I tried not to get upset.
