    Best places to watch the WEBN Fireworks – Ohio vs. Kentucky vs. couch

    Grab your picnic blankets and lawn chairs. The beloved Western & Southern WEBN Fireworks return to the Ohio Riverfront on Sunday.

    Festivities kick off with Riverfest at noon at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove, with music, food, entertainment and other family fun. The WEBN show, featuring Rozzi’s Fireworks, takes over the sky at 9 p.m.

    Planning on tuning into the show, either in-person or from home? Here are some places you can view the spectacle in Ohio and Kentucky, as well as the channel it'll air on.

    What channel are the WEBN Fireworks on?

    The fireworks will broadcast on Local 12 (WKRC-TV).

    Where to watch the WEBN Fireworks in Ohio

    The most popular spot to watch the fireworks in Ohio is Sawyer Point Park and Yeatman's Cove. Set up your own tarp sitting area on the Serpentine Wall starting at noon Sunday. Anything set up before then will be removed and destroyed, according to WEBN's FAQ page .

    Tarps and blankets can only be placed with painter's, gaffer or masking tapes. They cannot be secured with duct tape, rocks, bricks, sand or gallon jugs of water.

    • Bellevue Hill Park, 2191 Ohio Ave., Clifton Heights.
    • Smale Riverfront Park, West Mehring Way, Downtown.
    • Theodore M. Berry International Friendship Park, 1135 Riverside Drive, Downtown.
    • Frederick H. Alms Memorial Park, 710 Tusclum Ave., Columbia Tusculum.
    • Mount Echo Park, 251 Mt. Echo Park Drive, East Price Hill.
    • Olden View Park, 2610 W. Eighth St., East Price Hill.
    • Eden Park Overlook, 950 Eden Park Drive, Walnut Hills.

    The Cincinnati Dinner Train also hosts a fireworks train ride from Seymour Avenue to the riverfront and back. Tickets are $159.99 and come with a four-course meal.

    Where to watch the WEBN Fireworks in Kentucky

    Newport

    Watch the fireworks at Newport's Riverfest on the Levee, which starts at 3 p.m. This free event has live music, pop-up shops, vendors and more. Find more information at newportonthelevee.com .

    The Purple People Bridge closes at 8 a.m. Sunday and reopens at 2 a.m. Monday. Taylor Southgate Bridge closes for cars at 6 p.m. and for pedestrians at 7:30 p.m.

    Covington

    Each year, people flock to Covington's riverfront or Devou Park to watch the fireworks display. Several streets will close to vehicle traffic starting at 6 p.m., including the Roebling and Clay Wade Bailey bridges.

    Bellevue

    Buckhead Mountain Grill in Bellevue is hosting its Cincinnati Riverfest Fireworks Watch Party this year. Doors open at 4 p.m. A ticket to the party includes food, parking, a reserved table and live music.
