A man is dead after a crash in East End early Friday morning, police said.

The coroner has identified the victim as 35-year-old Anthony Watkins.

CPD said the crash happened at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Kellogg Avenue.

According to police, a 21-year-old man was driving west in a Honda Accord on Kellogg Avenue when he made an "improper lane change." The Honda Accord crashed into Watkins who was driving a Honda Civic.

Police said this caused Watkins to "leave the runway and strike a tree."
