The queen of soul music stopped by the Queen City on Thursday.

Grammy award-winning R&B singer Patti LaBelle stopped by two Cincinnati Kroger stores. LaBelle, affectionately dubbed the "Godmother of Soul," graced the Kroger aisles to promote her new Patti's Good Life Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle Mix.

The star visited the Oakley Kroger before making her second stop at a Kroger in Colerain, WLWT 5 reported.

The 80-year-old singer has found industry success for decades, having kickstarted her career in the 60s as frontwoman of the group Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles.

"Stop punking out on yourselves! People, when they turn 50, they hide. They think that's a curse; it's a blessing. That's a graduation. So, I will never not say on stage that I'm 80 years young," LaBelle told Local 12 at Thursday's Kroger event.

Patti's Good Life Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle Mix is for sale at Kroger stores.
