    Tuesday Outlook: Less humidity, cooler start around the Queen City

    CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – Tuesday starts nice and refreshing with cooler temperatures locked in. Lows have dipped into the 60s overnight with dew points down into the 50s. This will provide a wonderful start to the day before sunshine and light winds out of the east usher in the mid-80s for this afternoon.

    Lows will dip into the mid-60s overnight before the 90s return on Wednesday heading into mid-week. Humidity will also return with muggy conditions moving in for the end of the work week.

    Humidity and heat return heading into The Fourth Of July as mid-90s and spotty storm chances return. On Thursday, we’ll be hot with feels-like temperatures of almost 100 degrees throughout the day.

    More heat will finish off the week with highs approaching the upper 90s on Friday this will push the feels-like temperatures to over 100 degrees throughout the day which can spark a Heat Advisory or two. The mid-90s and afternoon storm chances settle in for the weekend and last until early next week.
