Joe Burrow picks Louisiana's fans over Ohio's, but says Ohio has better nightlife

Joe Burrow plays for the Cincinnati Bengals but still loves Louisiana.

The NFL quarterback recently played a game of "here or there" with Complex Sports , during which he was asked a series of grueling questions about Ohio and Louisiana. Burrow played for Ohio State University from 2015 to 2017 but then transferred to LSU, where he won a national championship with the Tigers during the 2019 season.

In a video posted on social media Monday, Burrow said Louisiana has better food than Ohio, stating that he gained 15 pounds during his first summer at LSU.

"Fried food is always better," Burrow said.

But when asked which state has the better scenery, the Bengals QB picked his home state of Ohio.

"I like hills, rolling hills, trees. The swamps are nice. Not always the best to look at," he added.

Burrow also stated Ohio has better nightlife than Louisiana, following his past comments in which he said there's "not a ton to do in Cincinnati." However, when it comes to music and fashion, Burrow had to give props to the Bayou State.

But don't worry, Cincinnatians, because Ohio reigns supreme when it comes to weather.

"I like seasons, so I would say Ohio has better weather. More variety in clothing that you can wear. It's not the same every day," Burrow added.

But for the ultimate question: Which state has the best sports culture? Unfortunately, Ohio did not come out on top.

"That's a tough one," Burrow said. "I would say Louisiana's fans are more passionate. Louisiana fans, there's not as much to cheer for. You have the Saints and you have the Tigers, and in Ohio, you can spread yourself a little more thin."

The Bengals travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs in Week 2 this season. They will face off at 4:25 p.m. on Sept. 15.
