Graeter's Celebrates National Ice Cream Month With Fruity Flavors

Graeter’s Ice Cream is helping Cincinnati beat the heat this summer with some special fruit-inspired flavors in celebration of National Ice Cream Month.

“Fruit Fest” is Graeter’s seasonal take on fruity ice cream flavors that are offered through the Bonus Flavor program in scoop shops. Throughout the summer, Graeter’s unveils a selection of new, limited-time bonus flavors every three weeks, and now, just in time for National Ice Cream Month, these bonus flavors will include some refreshing fruit-forward options. Graeter’s most recent bonus flavor was Strawberry Lime Fiesta, a concoction of sweet strawberries and lime ice cream, with strawberry pieces and salty, spicy lime flakes.

“There’s no better time to celebrate America’s favorite sweet treat than during the sweltering summer months,” Chip Graeter, the fourth-generation owner of Graeter’s Ice Cream, said in a press release. “We love celebrating National Ice Cream Month each year and look forward to welcoming our guests in our stores for our seasonal flavors and special offers.”

The bonus fruit flavors will also join traditional seasonal favorites, like Peach in July and Key Lime Pie in August, says the ice cream chain.

And to celebrate National Ice Cream Day on July 21, Graeter’s will offer Sweet Rewards Loyalty Program members cones for $1.54 (in honor of the 154 years in business) from July 15-21. The ice cream chain will also hold its annual Coloring Contest, which offers automatic eligibility for a free scoop when you enter.
