Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has a reputation as a guy who keeps things pretty secretive away from the football side of things.

But it sounds like he’s trying to change that up a bit.

During an interview with Complex’s Ben Felderstein , Burrow said that he’s trying to let more information go public in a way that connects with fans.

“Honestly, it just became a little exhausting trying to be so private,” Burrow said. “That has always been really important to me, but as my brand and my persona has grown, it becomes more and more exhausting to try to keep those parts of my life private. So I’m picking and choosing hopefully spots that I can be a little more open with people and that will in turn create a little more privacy on other sides.”

One of those things he mentions is the previously reported revelation that he’s been working on playing the piano this summer—he’s always wanted to learn, and it comes with the bonus of working on the dexterity of his rehabbed wrist.

Fans, for one, certainly won’t complain about seeing more and more about their star quarterback, so it makes for nice news during a slow part of the summer.
