Does Cincinnati-style chili suck? A popular food blogger made himself the judge of that in a TikTok video recreating the dish.

As part of Tim Laielli's video series "Hometowns," in which he makes signature dishes from different cities and, in his words, "tells you if it sucks," Laielli recreated a Skyline Chili three-way.

"I'm gonna be honest with you, I went into this fully anticipating to hate every single bite," the TikToker said in the video, which has amassed over 540,000 views. "I love spaghetti. I love chili. And I love cheese. But who in their right mind would combine the three? The people of Ohio, that's who."

Laielli's first impression of the Cincinnati dish was, put simply, "stoner food."

"And there's nothing wrong with that, but to have your whole town be known for this is insane," he added.

But did it earn the blogger's approval? Or does it suck? Laielli said he has "never been more indifferent about anything in" his life.

"By no means would I consider this to be bad, but I can't exactly say that it's good, either," he said. "The flavors are good, but it truly just left me feeling confused. It reminded me of something you'd eat in the first World War."

"It doesn't suck, but Ohio can have this one."
