Aaron Donald's brawl with the Cincinnati Bengals during a practice in 2022 will never be forgotten. The Los Angeles Rams legend was seen swinging a helmet against their practice partners during a joint offseason training.

The video of that incident quickly made the rounds on social media. After that incident, Donald refused to talk about the incident, avoiding the questions and not telling the full story. After his retirement, though, the Rams star revealed what really went down in his appearance on "The Pivot Podcast".

Donald revealed that he was playing "peacemaker" during the Rams-Bengals practice due to a Cincinnati player bullying his teammate. It was also revealed that said Bengals player threw the first punch, and that AD just "blacked out" at some point.

“I was the peacemaker and then it just happened how it happened. I got to protect my guys and protect myself, too," Donald said.

Donald announced his retirement from the NFL at the end of the 2023 season. The Rams star finishes his decorated career as a three-time DPOY, eight-time First Team All-Pro, and most importantly, Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl MVP. He's a lock to head into Canton as soon as he's eligible.
