According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, I-71 southbound at Lytle Tunnel in downtown Cincinnati will be closed at unknown times between 4 and 6 p.m. on July 18. Although ODOT expects only two 15-minute intermittent closures, the frequency of closures during rush hour is unknown.

NBC affiliate WLWT in Cincinnati reports ODOT refused to confirm the reason behind the closure, but the request of the road closure is likely from a company related to Warner Bros.

The only Warner Bros. film that has been filming in the Ohio area has been “Superman,” which left Cleveland last week. Previously, a casting call was issued for the Cincinnati and Cleveland areas for the upcoming film.

Recently on social media , there has been a lot of reports on production crews spotted outside of Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal. On their website , a popup says the venue is closed for a “private event rental.”

A “rolling roadblock” will be conducted on I-71 by the Cincinnati Police Department for traffic control.

IMDb lists July 11, 2025 as the film’s release date.
