A man is dead after a shooting Saturday night in Hartwell, Cincinnati police said.

The coroner confirmed that the victim was 19 years old. The victim's identity has not been released yet.

At approximately 8:15 p.m. officers responded to the 8200 block of Vine Street near the Hartwell Recreation Center.

Upon arrival, they found an adult male who had been shot. They died at the scene, police said.

Police have not yet released if they have any suspects in this shooting.

Elmwood Place police said one of their officers responding to assist CPD with the hooting was involved in a crash at the intersection of Vine and 69th Street.

The officer was "shaken up in the crash," Elmwood Place PD Chief Randall Newsom said, and he was transported to Jewish Hospital before being released. The other driver and passenger were also transported to the hospital, Newsom said.

Newsom said the officer's squad car had its blue lights and sirens on, and CPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
