WWE Champ Cody Rhodes Has Hilarious Response To Joe Burrow’s New Look

When Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow debuted his new bleach-blonde look, it drew quite a reaction from social media.

The two most obvious comparisons of Burrow’s drastic change in appearance were those of Grammy-winning rapper Eminem and undisputed WWE universal champion Cody Rhodes.

The latter saw the photo and responded with a hilarious tweet in which he photoshopped his American nightmare tattoo on the right side of Burrow’s neck along with a WWE championship belt draped over Burrow’s left shoulder with a caption that read “Time to finish your story this season @JoeyB.”

Burrow is fully healthy heading into training camp for the first time in a year.

The 27-year-old battled a right calf injury during training camp that lingered into the start of the regular season. He then suffered a season-ending wrist injury in a 34-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on “Thursday Night Football” on Nov. 16.

The effects of Burrow’s injury were seen well into the season. He labored through a 1-3 start, throwing for a career-low 82 yards in a season-opening 24-2 loss to the Cleveland Browns, before turning things around in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.
