Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had a blunt six-word message when asked about his approach heading into the 2024 NFL season.

Burrow's message was straightforward, reflecting his awareness of his own abilities and potential.

"I know I’m pretty damn good," Burrow stated.

This assertion comes as no surprise, given his impressive performance throughout his career thus far.

In his relatively short time in the league, Burrow has amassed over 14,000 passing yards, complemented by 107 total touchdowns against just 37 interceptions.

Despite a challenging season last year, which saw the Bengals fall short of expectations after reaching the AFC Championship game the previous year, Burrow remains a key figure in their plans.

His 2023 campaign was cut short by injury, specifically a torn scapholunate ligament in his right wrist suffered in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens. This injury kept him out of the final seven games of the season.

Burrow’s talent has been evident since his college days, where he led LSU to a national championship with one of the most dominant teams in college football history.

He has also made two conference championship appearances and a Super Bowl appearance in his early career.

However, staying on the field has been a recurring issue, including an ACL injury in 2020 that also sidelined him for a portion of the season.

While Burrow’s skill on the field is well-recognized, his ability to stay healthy will be crucial for the Bengals' success. His presence is a significant factor for the team, and maintaining his health will be key to their championship aspirations.
