    Tennis legend Andy Roddick to host his first-ever live podcast in Cincinnati

    A popular tennis podcast is hosting its first-ever live show in Greater Cincinnati.

    Andy Roddick, a two-time Cincinnati Open champion and former U.S. Open champ, will host a live episode of his podcast "Served with Andy Roddick" at Sonder Brewing in Mason on Friday, Aug. 9, the show posted on X .

    The event, taking place two days before the Cincinnati Open begins play, starts at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. In addition to Roddick, sports journalist Jon Wertheim and other special guests will also be in attendance.

    "We're gonna do something a little nuts," Roddick said in a video. "I'm really, really excited about this. ... It'll be a fun time for all."

    According to Sports Business Journal , "Served with Andy Roddick" launched earlier this year, amassing over 270,000 downloads and views across various platforms in its first 30 days on air. "Served" is currently Apple's No. 69 sports podcast in the U.S. and the No. 1 tennis podcast on the platform. The show also has a 4.9 out of 5 stars on Spotify, with approximately 802 reviews.

    Roddick is additionally helping kick off the Cincinnati Open by competing in an exhibition doubles match Aug. 10 , as he and John Isner will face Andre Agassi and Mardy Fish.

    The 2024 Cincinnati Open is Aug. 11-19 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
