Foster, a University of Texas Longhorns record holder in the 400 IM, also qualified to swim for Team USA in the men's 200-meter individual medley, scheduled to take place Thursday, August 1. Foster's Texas teammate, Shaine Casas, also qualified in the 200 IM.
