The Cincinnati Bengals' newly renovated locker room gets two thumbs up from franchise quarterback Joe Burrow, who made sure to credit Cincinnati's ownership for doing this to help the players on the team.

“It’s sick. The more we continue to invest in stuff like this, the more comfortable the players are going to be," Burrow told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com . "We’re going to love coming into work. I’m really happy with it. It’s quite an upgrade.

"Credit to ownership for putting this all together.”

The job of star quarterback transcends beyond throwing touchdowns. Burrow in many ways is the voice of the Bengals' roster.

It comes with perks, like his own mini-fridge and microwave right next to his redesigned locker, but it also comes with responsibility.

When the $275 million arm of the franchise speaks on investing in facilities to make players enjoy work more, that statement carries weight with the top names on the organizational chart. Burrow's happiness is important, but he wants what's best for his teammates as well.

An indoor practice facility, a new turf field ( that may have to be changed again soon ), and a modernized and practical locker room are all recent investments the team has made for its players just within the last two years. Couple that with upgrades to the stadium for the fans that create a rowdy home-field advantage, and the club has indeed put their money towards improving all aspects of the franchise.

Investment shows care, and as Burrow put it, that will be reciprocated by the employees coming into the office.

The redone locker room comes right in time for the heart of training camp, with the team's first padded practice happening this afternoon. Burrow is still being limited on some practice days with how much he's throwing, but has looked strong and accurate when he has been slinging the pigskin. He's on track to play his first preseason game in three years .

Cincinnati's first exhibition will be at home on August 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so Burrow and his teammates will get to use the new locker room right out the gate.
