    There's a new school in town

    Good morning, Cincy! I’m Allison Kiehl , a politics and business intern with The Enquirer .

    It's August, which means the new school year is nearly here. In the spirit of back-to-school season , I checked out the new Xavier Jesuit Academy , a private all-boys grade school in Bond Hill.

    The Jesuit school sits on California Avenue and fills the spot of St. Agnes School, a former Catholic elementary school that closed in the ‘90s. President Fr. Nathan Wendt and Kyle Chandler, the founding principal, gave me a tour to see the building’s completed $9 million renovations . They also shared insight into the school’s future.
