Bengals single-game ticket fees look a little different this year. What to know

Bengals fans buying single-game tickets this season might notice a slight change in costs.

In previous years, fans could call the Bengals' ticket office over the phone and purchase single-game tickets without the fees typically associated with online purchases. Starting this year, tickets purchased over the phone through the team now have the same fees as tickets purchased through the Bengals' Ticketmaster storefront, Emily Parker, the team's director of communications, told The Enquirer.

These fees, however, are still lower than the charges added to tickets purchased on Ticketmaster's general storefront and those purchased through the secondary market, Parker said.

How Bengals' ticket fees compare to Ticketmaster fees

A single-game ticket to the Bengals' upcoming preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is listed at $60 with $8.50 in fees through the team's official Ticketmaster site . On Ticketmaster's general site , a ticket listed at the same price carries $14.70 in fees.

For both storefronts, the sum of the fees varies slightly depending on ticket price.

On Ticketmaster, both through the general and Bengals storefronts, the "fees" you see at the end of the order are made up of two costs: a service fee often allocated to all parties involved with making the event happen, such as the venue, Ticketmaster, the teams and promoters. Second, there's an order processing fee , which is charged once per order and is also often shared between the venue, Ticketmaster and the teams.
