Public Meetings

Editor’s note: According to ORC 121.22 (f), every public body, by rule, shall establish a reasonable method whereby any person may determine the time and place of all regularly scheduled meetings and the time, place, and purpose of all special meetings. A public body shall not hold a special meeting unless it gives at least twenty-four hours’ advance notice to the news media that have requested notification, except in the event of an emergency requiring immediate official action. In the event of an emergency, the member or members calling the meeting shall notify the news media that have requested notification immediately of the time, place, and purpose of the meeting.

Monday, July 8

Deercreek Township Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, July 8 at the Township Office, 9980 US RT 22, Williamsport.

Tuesday, July 9

Walnut Township Zoning Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 at the Walnut Township House, Winchester Rd.

Wednesday, July 10

• Salt Creek Township Trustees meeting got moved from July 3 to July 10 at 7 p.m. in the Township Building in the 13040 St. Rt. 56 E., Kingston.

• Washington Township Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 for the 2025 Budget Hearing, which will be followed by the Regular Township Meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 11

• Pickaway County Library Board of Trustees will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 11 at the Floyd E. Younkin Branch Library.

• The Pic-A-Fay Joint Fire District will be holding a budget meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11. The regular monthly meeting will immediately follow at the Fire House, 17 N. Church Street, New Holland.

Tuesday, July 16

• Circleville City Council’s Safety Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 in Council Chambers.

• Circleville City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 16 in Council Chambers.

Miscellaneous

• Pickaway County Airport Authority meets on the second Monday of every month at 7 p.m. in the airport administration building.

• The Pic-A-Fay Joint Fire District’s regularly scheduled Board Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month, 5:30 pm at the Fire House, 17 N. Church Street, New Holland.

• The PMHA meets at 8:30 a.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Pickaway Metropolitan Housing Authority office. No meeting will be held in July or December.
